I designed this website to bring together the researchers who are working in this fascinating and exciting field - helping us to exchange
ideas with each other and share some of our results with the world.
For Researchers
Despite its popularity, the Enneagram has attracted relatively little interest from the research community. This site aims to
increase awareness of what has been done and to encourage academic rigour in future research. Each researcher has a profile
which gives a brief biography and an overview of their research on the Enneagram. If you are a researcher working in this
area, please get in touch by using the form and your profile can be added to the site.
For Non-Researchers
As the site develops, I hope it will also be a place where research expertise and funding can meet. Is there something
you would like to find out about the Enneagram but you aren't sure how to go about it? Perhaps there's a research project
you have the vision for and are looking for someone with the specialist skills and knowledge to carry it out? If so, take a
look through the researchers' profiles and get in touch!
New to the Enneagram?
The Enneagram is a personality typology that recognises nine different types of people based on how we look at the world and our internal (often unconscious) motives. Learning about the Enneagram can help us to recognise patterns in the way we think, feel and behave. This helps us to understand ourselves and others better and can start us on an exciting journey of self-development.
If you would like to learn more, there are Enneagram teachers who would be very happy to help. The school I trained with has a list of qualified and experienced teachers in the narrative tradition, which uses people’s stories to bring the Enneagram types to life.
I run introductory Enneagram workshops myself, so if you are in the north of England and would like to organise one, you're welcome to email me via my profile page.
